A few months ago I got tired of always having to wear tracksuit bottoms because my waist was so large. I bought a couple of pants online that you simply can't buy on the high street. And a belt to go with them. By far the biggest belt I've ever worn.
On Sunday I had to puncture a new belt hole for myself.
On Friday just gone I was flying with Aer Lingus. For the first time in years the seat belt didn't just close (without a belt extender) but closed easily and I could even pull it tighter by a couple of inches.
It's been a good week for belts.
