Last night I was trying to snap a quick photo and accidentally switched to the view of the front camera. You know, that dreaded selfie camera angle that seems to grossly highlight the worst of your extra chins and gives your face potato proportions. Instinctively, I moved to change back to the rear camera, but instead stopped to analyze the image on the screen.
Is that ME?!
My cheeks don't look so puffy, my eyes look brighter and more awake, there aren't deep set circles under my eyes indicative of a shit diet and poor circadian rhythm. Most notably, my chin/neck fat seems to have almost entirely vacated my face, leaving me with an actual defined line where my jaw and neck attach.
I am over the MOON! After just a month of a strict keto diet, I'm already shaving off years of fat that I gained due to awful eating habits and depression. My success with keto is transforming every aspect of my life! I found the drive to conquer my goals, and the feeling is overwhelming. I feel unstoppable. This subreddit continues to be a positive source of information and reinforcement for my new lifestyle. I can't thank all of you enough.
Here's to crushing goals, substantially smaller neck fupa, and a wicked cool community here on /r/keto!
