The last time I was at the doctor was 1/12/17. It was the day I realized I gained 20lbs since my mom passed away in August of 2016. It was also the day I decided to love myself more and treat my body the way it craved to be treated.
Today I'm down 10.2lbs, and 1-3 inches all across my body, and the only med I am on is my thyroid replacement. No exercising. Net carbs below 30, protein between 80-100 on a low day, and anything above that on a high day.
I plan to keep on keepin' on with my diet over this next month before I introduce an exercise routine outside of weekly yoga and taking my dog to the park. I know in the past I've failed bc I introduce too much at once, and I want to get this one right. I'm also traveling two out of 4 weeks coming up here soon and want to just focus intake during that time.
I have been officially diagnosed with hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's), PCOS, and an insulin resistance for about 18 months now. It certainly makes the weight loss side of things more difficult, but I can certainly say that this is the best I have ever physically felt.
KCKO, friends.
