I'm almost 48 and this should've been another weight loss failure of mine along with: Slimfast, Weight Watchers, Adipex, Seattle Sutton, Juicing, Dexitrim, Nutrisystem ... blah blah blah. I tried them all - lost some weight sometimes and was hungry ALL THE FRICKIN' TIME. But keto totally re-wired my brain - I no longer wake up starving, I no longer argue with myself in my head over ("just one box of Little Debbie's - just this once") in the grocery store, I no longer go to bed thinking that tomorrow will be the day I'll get a handle on it. It's finally tomorrow. Its been tomorrow for the last 10 months.
Thanks to the people in the sub who stick around with the great advice and the motivation ...you people, along with the Diet Doctor and Gary Taubes, are the reason I finally figured out how I should be eating. I've got about another 60 to go to make it an even 200 lost ... but I have no doubt that getting there will be a piece of (almond flour & stevia) cake! KCKO y'all.
