Keto Starbucks Drinks

So... I work at Starbucks. I get totally free drinks. As many as I want. I'm also trying Keto. It's totally working. I've also been experimenting with Keto friendly drinks Starbucks. I thought I might post some of my favorites.... Because maybe some Ketogenic person could use the list next time they're at Starbucks.

A couple things to to know: * Starbucks includes sweetener by default in iced coffees. So make sure to specify NO sweetener. They usually ask. * The Frappuccino is a no no. There is no way to make a Frappucino without sweetener. It's included in the BASE of a Frappuccino. Even the light versions. * Whipped Cream is a no no. We include vanilla sweetener in it. * If you say cream... We'll usually put Half & Half. Make sure to specify Heavy Cream. * The smoothies are a no. They include a banana and sweet juice. * The refreshers include sweeteners in the refresher concentrate. * Lemonade is a no. We get the lemonade already sweetened. * Chai Latte is a no. The chai concentrate already has sweeteners in it. * Green Lattes are a no. Sweetener is now included by default in the matcha powder :(

Other things to know: * WITH is important. It's free if it's WITH. And since it's going to be less than 4 ounces(that's why it's free)... It's not going to be overkill. It's probablely closer to 2 ounces in most cases. Though you can specify how many ounces to them. * We have these sugar free syrups: Hazelnut, Vanilla, Caramel, Cinnamon Dolce. * SF: Sugar Free. Our syrups are made with Sucralose. * We also have a SFMocha. It has approximately 1 grams of carbs per 1 pump.

Here's the list of what I like so far:

Hot: * Short|Tall|Grande|Venti (I recommend Grande) Tea (I recommend Chai) WITH Steamed Heavy Cream and 2 (or more/less) SF syrup (I recommend vanilla).. Or none, if you're not hankering for artificial sweeteners. 11-44.1 grams of fat. 0.6-3.3 grams of carb's. 0.6-3.3 grams of protein * Short SF french vanilla (hazelnut + vanilla) latte with heavy cream. 66.2-77.2 grams of fat. 5-5.8 grams of fat. 3.5-4.3 grams of protein.

Cold or Hot: * Americano WITH heavy cream and a pump of SF mocha sauce maybe some SF Vanilla.

Cold: * Starbucks DoubleshotTM with SF Syrup (or none) instead of sweetener and heavy cream. * Cold Brew with SF Mocha and SF Vanilla and light heavy cream.

I'll be constantly updating my list of favorite, keto friendly, Starbucks drinks. I'll also be including/revising any new information I discover. Also, maybe some Keto Starbuxians can offer their favorites. If they do, I'll include them on the list.

  1. Im crazy about the shaken iced teas right now. I specify unsweetened. So far Ive tried, green, white, and passion. Im certain green and white didnt have sugar. The passion probably doesnt, but had a kind of fruity flavor that made me a tiny suspicious of carbs .
