Yesterday was day 21 for me. The end of week 3. It was moderately harder than week 2. Of course any carb cravings at this point are more psychological than physical.
I've continued to do lots of walking every day. It's had it's side advantages like being able to walk my nephews in to the cinema to see Sing. They liked the walk and loved that I can be more active with them.
My brother hasn't noticed any weight loss yet but he can't deny my improved fitness and stamina. On the other hand my mother says the weight is walking off of me but perhaps as a mother she's obliged to say that.
I decided against weighing myself this week. I fully expect my weight loss to slow right the feck down, but if i can lose a pound or two a week from dietary changes I'll be happy. And if the walking helps me lose another pound a week then that's just gravy.
Two to three pounds per week would make 2017 an excellent year but it's early days yet.
Onward to week 4!
