I haven't been this slim since high school (I'm 37 now): http://ift.tt/2lIlZdW
The before pic is not from when I started the weight loss, but a few years back when I was at my worst, somewhere between 225 and 230 lbs.
I officially started lchf (didn't know about "keto") around feb of last year, when I was at 217, with an initial goal of 170. I dropped the first 40lb pretty quick on a 1500 daily calorie limit, but got lazier in the fall (probably eating around 1800-2000/day) and plateaued at around 175 for a good few months.
I decided that I can do better, so I set a new goal of 155lbs, and went back to religious keto at 1600 cal/day (110 protein, 118 fat, 25 carb)+ gym in mid-jan. I hit 165 late last week and the scale showed 164.2 this morning with a BF of 12%. (I'm 6ft tall). Getting back on the wagon was tough for the first few days. Lots of cravings, but I drink water like there's no tomorrow and that helps :) Hoping to hit my goal by mid-march and then start building muscle mass.
This community has been immensely helpful. Your stories and pictures gave me a ton of motivation, especially on those days when I felt like giving up, or when I had to fight the urge to smother my divorce pain in ice cream and chocolate :)
thank you all!!!
