[Opinion] A case for the cauliflower pizza crust

I've noticed there have been numerous postings about fathead pizza lately and I wanted to make the case for a lighter option.

Receive for the curious:

  • 0.5 lb riced cauliflower (1lb bag makes 2 recipes)

  • 1 egg

  • 3 oz hard cheese (we like half parm, half asiago)

  • tsp garlic powder and oregano (more/less to taste)

Directions:

  • Steam cauliflower

  • Mix remaining ingredients, spread out base and bake on parchment paper at 400F until cooked. Let cool, top and re-heat until bubbly
