My boyfriend and I started keto last May because he's a T1D and we had both gotten a little more round over the course of my medical school (which I joke we're really doing together, since he supports me in pretty much every way). We absolutely LOVED it, and were dedicated keto-ers and MFP loggers for 5 or so months, each losing about 20 lbs! Then Thanksgiving and the holidays hit, and we lost focus, doing lazy keto with frequent days where we broke. But we hit NYE with resolutions to stick to strict keto for a year.
It's been a little difficult because the weight isn't coming off as fast now for me, mainly going up and down 1-2 lbs every week, which I have to keep telling myself makes sense as we have less left to lose. I also have had to adjust my total calories for the weight loss and was actually eating at surplus for the start of the year.
SO just making this post to remind myself to KCKO, and to look at pics from my birthday - right before we started - and Thanksgiving - when we were probably at our best as far as keto goes.
