I started Keto on January 3rd. So far, I have lost 18 lbs and I feel fantastic. I started out at 206 which was my highest in my life (even through two pregnancies). I did not take a before picture but I started my weekly pictures after the first week where I lost 6lbs of water weight. Even so, I thought I would share my weekly progress pictures with others because some weeks despite only losing a half pound, the pictures tell a different story. Especially between week 2 & 3. Overall though, I find it interesting that the picture progress totals only a 12lb. weight loss. I should also note that during this time I've lost 2 inches in my waist and 2.5 inches in my hips!
My advice to those starting out with keto - take measurements and take progress pictures. Even if the scale isn't showing huge losses, small changes add up and pictures help with staying motivated!
