Decided that if I didn't change my diet that I would continue to gain, and the problems I've already caused my body would get worse. Discovering keto / low-carb is a miracle and I anticipate more success. And by the end of it all, I'll have something to show someone who's in a similar position. I have a friend on reddit that happened to discover keto around a similar time and we're both losing at the moment. I'm excited to see where we end up by the time we hit our goal weights.
No body pictures, but you can still see a subtle difference in the amount of fat on my face. I've been on low-carb and a calorie restriction of 300-500 cals for about 3-4 weeks. I keep track of my calories and macros on MyFitnessPal and haven't been doing any exercise.
Most days I feel very satisfied despite being at a calorie deficit. The fat really helps with that, particularly from fatty meats and cheese. Cheese is a lifesaver, my buddy relates to that idea as well.
