First, the SV. I hit 339 (29 lbs lost) some time around January 16, and then the scale stalled. And stalled. And stalled. And then started creeping up. The same happened at 19 and 24 lbs lost. I've been admittedly lazy with my keto. But I stayed on script best I can.
And then, last night, it finally happened: 336. I crossed the 30 lb barrier. But more importantly, I've lost 60 lbs since I started my weight loss journey in December 2015. Which was a HUGE fxcking deal for me. I still have 131 lbs to love but fxck it. I'm celebrating this one. Kinda makes the title of this post inaccurate. But I'm really celebrating a 3 lb WHOOSH~! Iono...
On to the NSVs:
-
I need a new belt. My waist has gone down 2 belt loops. STEP ON THE SCALE... DON'T TRIP ON IT.
-
My work shirts are hanging off of me
-
This time I measured it... I needed to sprint 80 yards to catch the bus to work on Friday. Once again, I was not winded.
-
Started Stronglifts 5x5 after reconstructive wrist surgery
-
Returned to BJJ after reconstructive wrist surgery and tapped out a blue belt (I'm a white belt that's been out for almost 5 months). On top of that, I've only been eating 1 meal a day and my preworkout consists of water with sea salt and Nu-Salt.
-
[EDIT] Damn. I forgot... I saw my Judo sensei for the first time since September on Friday too. He mentioned I'd lost a metric fxckton of weight in my face. As well as a bunch of my BJJ teammates.
I hope this keeps someone on track.
Peace and Blessings to you all.
