So I posted here almost two years ago. I'd hit rock bottom mentally when after getting on the scale 2 months into a new workout/diet plan and saw that I'd GAINED weight to an all-time high of 99.5kg (220lbs). My BP was high, I couldn't eat the smallest carbs without crashing. Worried I'd become diabetic like my dad I'd gone on the internet and discovered Keto. I was desperate enough to try it. 3 weeks in I was down to 94kg. I'd NEVER lost weight successfully in my life before this. SUCCESS!!!
Well, anyway, I dropped a bit more to about 89kg but I kept falling off the wagon. Last January, after 6 months travelling and barely dieting I was back to 91kg. I was determined to fix this, so I got back on keto. And would continue to do this on and off for the rest of the year. My biggest issue was half the time it seemed to not be working, so out of frustration I'd take a 'break'. I was also still battling with my blood pressure.
I started again almost 2 weeks ago, and it's working again. I'm losing on average 0.66lbs every couple days. Today I got on the scale and almost cried: 76.8kg (169lbs). I haven't weight this little in about 8 years. I was struggling to see the loss in the mirror (even though many of my clothes are freer) so I started digging up old pics and I was horrified. I had a double chin. My jawline was non-existent. My arms, chest and stomach were huge. I looked...old. I'm short so it was extra obvious. I couldn't believe that I'd been that big and hadn't really noticed. So I decided to post on here for the first time. I never post my face outside my Twitter/IG but I'm proud of my progress so what the hell. My BP still isn't where I want it to be but I'm working on it.

I don't smile in selfies for some reason, but I assure you I'm happy! :D
