Told my doctor I'm doing keto...she loves it!

I had gastric bypass surgery 4 years ago. Lost weight, gained some back, started getting sick.

So I go to see the doctor at the weight loss place every 4 months for a check up and to see if I am losing weight again.

She saw I'd lost quite a bit of weight compared to other checkups and asked what I was doing. I nervously told her keto and she asked how low of carbs. I told her 20g and she said wow that's hard but you can do it!

Then she talked to me for about 15 minutes about how great keto is for obesity and how she is trying to get the nutritionist on the office on board because she really wants everyone who sees her to do keto before they have surgery.

They also did measurements and I've lost 2" in each arm and each thigh, 1" in each wrist.

They did some other stuff and said in the 14.8lbs I've lost since starting 3 weeks ago I've only lost .2lbs of muscle mass so they can definitely tell I am burning pure fat at the point.

She said keep up the good work, call her if I have any questions, and she wants to check my lipid panel and kidneys in 4 months just to make sure I'm doing ok on keto.

Success!
