yf/5'2/31 SW: 210 GW:120 CW: 147 I started quite a while ago(about 1 year). I've been a long time carbwhore. I was the kid who took the meat out of my burgers and just ate the bread. I would pick around my hamburger helper, eating nothing but the noodles. I lived for the garlic bread, not so much the the entree. It's been a long road, and though I have a hell of a sweet tooth and a lifelong obsession with bread, I've turned it around and thrived on my ability to say no to things I know are bad for me. I feel like I'm constantly faced with people asking me to try this or that, and though I'm a huge foodie and a food pioneer, I've been saying no to carbs and sugar. It's been a rollercoaster, but I'm a bit less than 20lbs from my goal. This subreddit has been an amazing source of inspiration. On days that I thought I might give in, I would just browse and affirm my efforts. Thank you for that! I've been lurking for a long time, but I wanted to finally give back to the community that has given back my self confidence and body! kudos to everyone struggling and fighting the good fight! This diet is amazing, not only do I feel better looking at myself, I feel better internally. My mind and energy levels are amazing and I'm finally resting better, feeling less depressed and feeling like my old self again. I discovered this subreddit when I felt hopeless. I'm here today optimistic and thankful for all of you! KCKO <3 Progress pic: Keto progress http://ift.tt/2vtRJwd
