An interesting feeling about this - Today is just another day.
I had planned out a special keto-friendly dessert for when I dropped to 300. I made this dessert but did not feel like eating it. I realized that day that I wasn't ready to celebrate. I still had work to do.
Today yields a very similar feeling but with a twist. It is true that I am not done yet but also that this is the new norm. This WOE may not be for everyone, but it suites me well.
Proto-typical plan. Daily goal of 1700 Cal. (high deficit - 30%)
31/M/6'1" | CW 269.4 | 35% BF | Mostly sedentary
- 1699 kcal Goal, a 31% deficit. (910 min, 2448 max)
- 20g Carbohydrates
- 140g Protein (105g min, 174g max)
- 118g Fat (30g min, 200g max)
Typical daily meals (I fail at adding veggies quite a bit):
Eggs & Bacon
Meat & Veg
Meat & Veg
I do not preclude any of the following items, so long as it fits in my carb macro. I splurge on calories ~1.5x per week, mostly for booze. I sometimes fall into the 20-30g net carbs with no noticeable issues.
Wine (Merlot)
Whiskey
Michelob Ultra/Bud Select
Cheese
Low Carb Mission Tortillas
New addition - Bean-less chili (75-100% of daily carb allowance)
Side notes: I did pick up lifting along the way, which actually slows weight loss, but not fat loss. Also, my wife isn't totally supportive (fruits can't be unhealthy type logic + unsustainable).
I am willing to answer questions, if you have any.
Thanks goes to you guys for this awesome resource!
