I’ve made it 40 days and 40 nights on keto and my life has changed immensely. I wish I could scream from the mountain tops how much I love this WOE and how much it has affected my daily life in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE.
Here is a list of changes:
I wake up before my alarm EVERY DAY.
I WANT to exercise so…
I started practicing yoga in the morning.
I started working out to Jillian Michaels DVDs at night
My skin is SO CLEAR that it’s GLOWING! (A coworker asked me what kind of ‘highlighter’ I’ve been using- don’t know wtf that is.)
My nails are healthy.
My hair is shiny.
I wake up happy.
I HAVEN’T FELT LIKE I WAS HUNGRY/STARVING IN A LONG TIME.
I do random chores like the laundry and dishes when I get home from work instead of going straight to Netflix.
I look FORWARD to cooking and meal-prepping.
I sleep through the night and wake up refreshed. (My fitbit can attest to this)
I’ve been more attentive and witty while conversing with my colleagues.
My motivation is through the roof.
My last period breakout was so minimal that you couldn’t even tell I had a blemish.
I’ve been smiling more.
My old clothes are fitting better.
I haven’t been focusing on the number on the scale as much.
The list goes on and on.
Lastly, I told myself that I would do 6 weeks of keto. Those 6 weeks are up on Sunday (in two days.) There’s no way in SHIT I’m stopping now! Here’s to another 6 weeks!
