[Update] 1 month on Keto, 18lbs gone forever!

Wow. So it's been a month on Keto and I'm 18lbs down. My stats are as follows; 25|F|5'5". I started at 288lbs, this morning I weighed myself and I am now 270lbs! I am ecstatic!

As a young woman with PCOS, Keto is honestly a Godsend to me. I am so proud of myself for sticking to it all the way through from day 1, never going over 20g net carbs, not having cheated or even being tempted to cheat! The energy I have is amazing! The mental clarity, sleeping better and being able to wear clothes I haven't been able to wear in years/months! My skin is glowing and is so smooth. The only negative I've had [TMI for the guys] is that due to the hormonal changes that comes with Keto, my time of the month has been CRAZY. But I hope eventually this will go away - and so will by PCOS. I am hopeful and positive that I will reach my goal for this year; to lose 88lbs, as long as I continue as I am. I hope to also start taking long walks 3/4 times a week, I don't presently have the urge to go back to the gym but walks will do for now.

I want to thank you all on this sub. I have learned so much and have received so much encouragement and advice, all of which has been priceless and has meant a lot to me. Thank you all! KCKO!

Edit: Fiance joined me on Keto and he has lost 14lbs in 3 weeks. Yesterday he told me "No pub this weekend... Beer has too many carbs. I need to take this seriously." This is from someone who has never cared about what he eats or drinks, but Keto has given him energy and a mental clarity he doesn't want to let go of! Whoop whoop!
