My ~$1 Breakfast Burritos

Get your copy of our Ketogenic cookbook HERE

Hello. I wanted to share my frozen breakfast burrito prep thing with you guys. By buying things in bulk I am able to get the cost of the ~400 calorie burritos to about $1! For us 1200 calorie/day people that means I can eat for $3 a day if I wanted. Pretty good in my opinion, in fact, I've eaten nothing but breakfast burritos for this past week and I feel great.

Here are a couple photos: http://ift.tt/2o6HaZa

Basically I buy low carb lawash wraps for $2.29 for 6 count, Walmart sells good low carb tortillas too. You just have to find cheap and good ones. Mission is a little too pricy for me.

Hot sausage patties from Walmart or GFS, 30 eggs from GFS for $2, cheese slices from GFS or Costco for $4-$6. Mayo and Siracha are kept in the house and the cost has to be negligible (not going to calculate).

So all I do is cook the sausage, some eggs (usually about 3 more than the number of burritos im making (10 burritos, 13 eggs). Feel free to experiment. Let all ingredients cool, and form the burritos, then freeze.

When I want to eat one, I defrost for a couple minutes and then use the normal microwave cook function for a minute or so. Sometimes I will add a slice of cheese to the top and some salsa.

Feel free to ask questions. Thanks and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
